This series constitutes the second phase of the HAPPY*C DARK SIDE.

When I worked on the DARK SIDE #1 series, I expressed my honest emotions and followed my instinct, but some “characters” became recognizable in my works. I wanted to break away from this habit of trying to represent something cute.

Therefore, I started breaking down easily understandable shapes and drew more abstract artwork. All bears lost their cute shapes. Only BEARÖMIXX’s characteristic eyes and noses remained intact.
